Why is this? I think its because I used Nvidia Geforce before, and now its Ati. The card is Asus Ati EAX1300 PRO. Can anybody help me?

EDIT: more pics, cos I think I wasnt clear enough:

You called?

Did you uninstall your Nvidia drivers before putting in the new ATi card and installing its drivers?

have you tried VLC Player ?
it's got built in codecs just to make sure it isn't a codec problem

Try WMP, I have that as well with some .wmv s in MPC

Sweks ffdshow link won't help you (check the pics again and look at the app bar. Its all wmvs he posted...)

chaos386: yeah calling :p BTW its a brand new pc, new HD, so only ATI drivers are on it.

swek: nope that did not help :(

Buba: nah, tried it with every player I have :(

fluke667: VLC player works great, I think I'm gonna use that, untill I find the problem

Thanks again, everybody!

Look no further, then, it's codec-related. Installing the latest version of Windows Media Player should install the right codec... or you can switch to VLC for good :)

^ Alright, I will try to uninstall all the codecs, and put on WMP  Thx!

Vlc is absolutely the best thing. :)
It even plays video files that are in .bin format :) It isnt necessary to mount the files on a shadow drive with daemon tools, it pplays the file directly.

Codec packs are a BAAAD idea.

He doesn't need any of that, since the problem is obviously a wmv thing... New WMP as mentioned above should work perfectly...

Thanks everybody, Mediaplayer 10 solved the problem.

Windows Media Player 10 FTW

THANKS!
