Here are some more pics of the upcoming 2008 Subaru Impreza. Thank God they got rid of the designer of the current generation of Subarus. The B9 Tribeca is just awful. Looks like the Lancer/Impreza battle will rage on for another generation.

They look like photoshops - have you got a source for this?
 
Is it just me or do those first two pics make it look a bit like a Golf? The new front end reminds me of a Monaro. Overall it's lost the cool aggressive look that the current Impreza has, but it still looks really nice.
 
if the final version is going to look like that.. ill be null impressed.

They probably are pchops. First two come from edmunds, the third comes from scoobyblog.
 
I like the current outgoing one, I love how when you look down while driving you catch a hint of the scoop D:
 
They need to bring back the oversized fog lights.

I agree, definately looks like a hatchback from the pics. Maybe it's just the angle.

I thought they had done away with the piggy-snout grill?

The first couple look good though, I guess Subaru found a cure for Teh Ugly.
 
I'll wait until I see actual photos of an actual car - that being said, the wing hanging off the back of the hatch looks plain silly.

If the next Impreza WRX STi really looks like this... well I think the Evo looks cooler. It looks more aggressive and the Impreza is too sleek. It is like it's made by the german tuners... :? it looks too much like an ant killer. :cry: :cry:

The only thing this rumoured Impreza has over the Evo is the exhaust.
I don't like the dual exhaust on the Evo and in general I think they're getting gay. You see them on all 1.8~2.0l engines... it isn't a sporty look anymore... it's plain.

I'd prefer the current Impreza, I don't like the looks of the 'new version' thankfully they are only photoshops.
 
I like it. Improvement over the outgoing generation - which I think was a lot uglier than (my favorite) the generation before that (the one they reviewed on the show)
 
I like it too, but i prefer the evo

....but I like ugly and in your face in a rally car. Current gen wins for me. Until I see a production version of these pchops. :)
 
I always love the copious next gen. Subaru WRX/STI/Impreza pshop threads. They are seriously everywhere.
