I'd like to see one in person but the poor camera angles the pictures were taken at doesn't help either.

Hm... still don't like the newer Merc front grilles with the huge star in the middle. The classic ones with the star up on the bonnet just work better.

So Mercedes is now the new Audi. Excerpt from Benz' design department: "How can we make our cars look better?" - "I know, let's graft the SLS front end on to every single car in our line up!"

I'm just waiting for the A-Class with huge SLS grill.

I'm not a fan of the huge emblem on the grille or the lines running down the hood. Those seem a bit tacky. I'm not sure if the grille itself is really that huge from these angles, but if it is...eek. Borrowing bad ideas from Cadillac?

Overall, though, I like how the redesign makes it look less roundy and cutesy. Angry car is angry. Awesome.

That design looks great on a SL, but the same design on the SLK somehow makes it look disproportionate to the car.

I think even a Chinese clone would be better looking.

looks absolutely terrible, at least from the pictures.

But having said that, I still want to see the car in metal.
