New Automotive Magazine Needs Name....

Could be interesting, would we be able to write reviews too?

I could see myself writing some reviews, taking pics and such... hehe :)


you could provide a template for that, picture upload, fields to fill with info, things to give an opinion about, specs to give, etc...

it would be very interesting.. a kind of collective information and opinion gathering on cars!
 
Well, it'll be nice to break away from my nickname of Mr. Copy & Paste for a while and give some of my own opinions. I'm all up for it! :)
 
I think it should be "Test Driver: The Adventures Of Abuse man." I bet the dealerships will love that.
 
I like the Final Gear Mag idea as a name. Just to add also i think photos should be a key point.

Alright, looks like there maybe a decisive name already. But incase Viper doesn't want me to use his name (for whatever crazy reason) throw some more at me. Not too hard though, okay?


I'll probably build up a list of about ten names that I think sound cool (or make the car magazine sound like something everyone would read).

Tifosi means fanatic. I like finalgear mag, but how about something like sports car international or test drive international. It gives it a european flair, which is sadly lacking in American motor journalism.

No insult intended. Someone on the first page mentioned it, and that's why I listed it...it will be deleted.
 
Clutch kick magazine... the magazine especially for drifting nerds like me...How about double-clutch magazine or heel and toe mag...wheelspin is good but it sounds like a magazine for yobbos. Ignition magazine would be an improvement on start up mag, but it sounds like a mag for pyros :lol:

Yup, exactly. Another meaning would be "at full throttle" (about the entry speed of a curve, for example).

Okay, this is a good turn out, I will post up a poll tomarrow, so be on the lookout. If you have anymore suggestions, please PM them to me. Mods, please lock this thread. :dancinglock:


On another note, a me and a friend will be testing cars. If you would like to submit a review of a car, feel free to. Make sure to submit at least 6 photos (at least one of the engine bay), two pages of text, and a technical data sheet that has tested mpg, base cost, tested cost, specs, etc. I'll have a more detailed layout for submission put up during the week.
