125i is with 2,5-Liter-inline-6 with 218 HP and 250 Nm torque, close numbers after the three-litre six cylinder 130i with 258 HP.

The 3-series-Limousine will accommodate in the future also one 3liter Biturbo Diesel with 272 HP and 560 Nm as 335d. On the Benzin is used a likewise charged three-litre petrol engine with approximately 330 HP as 335i. Both motors can be ordered with the optional all-wheel drive combined and named as the 335xd and 335xi.

Available both machines are later also in the Touring and in the Coupe Cabrio, where they will be likewise optional to have as all wheel variants. A rounding downward receives the Touring Motor program with that to 129 HP strong 118i as well as the 118d - a two-litre Diesel from the 320d debuted in the autumn already in the sedan - as basis Diesel. Only the Coupe Cabrio must do without these basis engines. Here the 320i and the 320d form the entrance motorizing. BMW does not want to take a position to the new motorizing on request.

Isn't the 1 series 1300kgs? Not really what I'd call a light hatch.

But its got some get up and go with the 3L I6.

umm...my Alero is 1550 kgs with a 145 hp engine and 140 lb-ft of torque.

130i is really fast around the ring and fun to drive. It is like Z Coupe 3.0 with backdoors.

I'm sure it is but you would have to really want that engine if you were to pay a high price for what is still a 1-Series...

Yeah, that's the problem, it is a Z coupe 3.0 with back doors, so why would anyone buy it new when you can get it much much much cheaper?
