Lancia segment from 14x03 is also sort of a remake.

I believe Ford Fiesta vs Vette in a shopping mall was a bit of a homage to this quirky race (starts at around 5:28)

Or this one (At the end, it might remind you of something)

Who knows, maybe even this review influenced Top Gear's economy run around Europe.

There's a tad bit more, but I can't seem to remember now.

Pfft. Clarkson has been plagiarising himself and other for years.

Its smart IMO. I started watching "new" Top Gear at Series 6 or 7 and had no idea it was a remake/reboot of an old show. Aside from some clips posted on this site I hardly ever watch any "old" Top Gear (not sure whether that's good or bad) and I don't think I've ever seen a complete episode of it. So its a huge well to pull from as many/most viewers currently watching would have no idea.

Not first one is obviously not from TG, but it is similar.

Stretched Limos

Stretched Limos

Not precisely a exact remake but a fair comic retake on the same topic.
Limos are just tacky-vulgar.

And then the modern take:

When I see this thread, I fear for the future of TG. I mean, why do they reuse their own lines if they are able to make new (and improved) ones?

VW Commercial

VW Commercial

More a reference that a modern take but a worth mention

Glad for this. End Product was hilarious.

i'm sure as they run out of ideas they will recycle more and more old stuff. that, and add more smut.
