yeah well, you can't make fun anymore of it's performance, and that's actual the only thing that counts in car (imo)

So just why are there always bags or something similiar on prototype cars?

The dodgy black lines that are usually on prototypes are there to knock the focus off on cameras. I presume the bags on this car are to prevent people from seeing the new shape of the car before it is publically announced.

I think the same basic design of the corvette remains... however... much of the body panels are different... like the rear window... looks amazing though...
