Hello to all
I'm a big fan of top-gear,
I particually love the epp where the best Muccel car is the Holden, as I live in Australia and there are heaps around here.

Any way as stated I want to know (via poll) which you think is the better presenter,
Jeremy, Richard, James

cheers
MATT

I think Richard really came together over the course of this season. I have been watching the first two seasons and parts of the last two seasons in two weeks, and it's easy to see how the show has developed further to be the best motoring show in the world ever. Jeremy has kept his standards, James has been improving over his whole attendance in Top Gear, but I think Richard has been the one who has produced the most interesting stuff in the more recent episodes.

i voted james. i love his little outbusts... so out of character for him :)

JAMES!! cause he is the funniest one on the show... he always comes out with some call that leaves you laughing...

1. The whole 1 series flip chart part.
2. The news with the suzuki swift.
3. The time he went off about some american guy wanting england to be all nice with guys suffering from the "consumption" haha

[EDIT]

oh and he should have won the 1500 pound porsches :x

His little outbursts are great... Then there are the ones that are just plain stupid(by that I mean the Porsche Boxter v. Mercedes battle in this last season... That kind of bragging does not go well with the same man who claimed that Honda S2000 has "not enough cylinders(four), too many gears(six) and a horrible screaming sound". Not to mention that the best british car is a Rover 75. Other than that, for example, the speak about cabriolet cars("These two are not men...") they are priceless.

I voted for James too for the same reasons

richard is funny, he get my vote :)

Wow, I can't believe so many people here like James. He's the worst presenter on Top Gear. I'd rather have the fat man than him.

It's easy to be down-to-Earth and give an honest opinion (as James does) but it takes a lot more talent to be entertaining and charismatic like Jeremy and Richard.

When it comes to presentation, no one comes close to Jeremy and Richard. James' facial expressions are too stoic and consistent for my tastes.

Richard is getting quite good, he might even become better than Clarkson.

in al the criteria you mentioned, james owns the fat guy, the fat guy just plainly sucked, no other wordes to describe him

I voted Clarkson, he still pwns the other presenters for me. Although, he's undoubtably scripted to do so, it is basically his show after all! :p

I'd say richard and jeremy are too mainstream for my liking... by that I mean they pander to the audience more than james does... James' jokes are a bit more dry than the other 2. Hence why he got my vote.

I voted for James - he's a real guy. Plus, I really loved his Triumph review.

I went Richard he has just gotten better and is really good to watch, but they are all good and work well together.

Clarkson and Hammond connect more with the audience. May reminds me of the presenters on Fifth Gear and American car shows. He's just not as funny as his two counterparts (at least in my view).

My endearing memory of May is when he started laughing hysterically after the Boxster beat the SLK on the race track.

He's a good writer though.

^ I was thinking the same thing.

Clarkson is still the funniest host. I love it when he's like "You've got a beard" to an audience member, and then totally ignores his opinion.
