I think its too silent in here and I feel like we could use a thread to discuss rumors and/or news etc. Not limiting it to one brand or format, but all thats out there.

I'll start with the latest rumos of Sigma potentially announcing a fullframe 135mm f1.8 with a stabilizer ("135mm f/1.8 DG OS Art").
http://www.canonrumors.com/2013/04/135mm-f1-8-dg-os-art-next-from-sigma-cr1/

Thats potentially a really nice fullframe portrait-lens, combining f1.8 and the OS. Not sure how I feel about the missing HSM. But I think it'll be an interesting alternative to Canons 135/2 USM, which lacks the OS. Also a possible 24/1.4 croplens is mentioned. But I am not sure that thing has a place with the 18-35/1.8 coming. I really like my 30/1.4 and considered a shorter fixed lens, but with the 18-35/1.8 coming, that is my new favourite fixed lens replacement for everything up to 35mm.

Lets bring some life in this subforum! :)

The new Sigma releases have been killer, my next lens will be the 35/1.4, no doubt.

I think Sigma has done away with printing HSM on the lens bodies, all their new lenses have it so they don't bother. I don't see why the 135 wouldn't have it.

I hope the 135/1.8 OS rumors are true. I hope it will induce Canon to match their offer.

Sony has the 135/1.8 through Carl Zeiss but the focusing motor sucks and something from the 80s.
