It will be intresting when it comes to release time, stats and figures mean shit it all comes down to the games.

The xbox was a far better console, but if you added up the total time I spent playing both the ps2 was way ahead, just for the fact of gt3/4 and gta, games sell consoles.. not specs

Fixed.

PS3 should drop early 2006.

Next-gen systems are going to kick ass. I'm personally sticking to buying all the majour systems and getting the best of everything. I'm still iffy about the Xbox 360, though. I hope it doesn't suffer the same fate as the Dreamcast, since it's coming out so early. Developers are already saying PS3 is way ahead of the Xbox 360 in terms of raw power.

I still think Nintendo is going to flip the whole industry on its head. Either that, or their going to come out with something no one is going to get.

damn.... the PS3 looks so sleek... and all the processor speeds have like tripled from the previous generation... all of them used to be under 1ghz... now it is over 3ghz

Processor speeds don't mean shit. It's all about developers. PS3 is going to get first dibs on GTA, that's bound to sell consoles. Of course, GT5 is a PS3 exclusive, not to mention the Tekken series, MGS, and DMC. Xbox 360 has the Halo series, which seems to be the king of console multiplayer games for now. I also can't wait for the next-gen Forza.

damm the ps3 looks so diff from prev. pics. i'm gonna get one for sure! the controller isnt that nice though the handles are too long.

btw did ne one download that MTV presentss xbox 360 from some BT site.

hmm that ps3 controller looks .. i duno uncomfortable? the sides are so long.

I personally will probably buy both. The PS3 has a lot of processing power, but it will highly depend on how the developers take advantage of it. The Xbox360 has one leg up on the PS3, because its coming out during a holiday season, which will make it wildly popular. By waiting to release it in the spring sony has to wait almost 6 months for a holiday buying season.

I also think the xbox360 launch games are going to be amazing, PGR3 and Test Drive Unlimited look amazing. The PS3 is going to have a lot of exclusive games, but i'm drawn to the xboxlive service thats going to be integrated in the xbox360.

I'm sure it was tested. What amazes me is that they didn't put the old connectors plugs. Well, we'll just use USB adaptors...

what color u guys gonna get ps3 in? i'm gonna get a white one :>

I have always been a fan of black. It would contrast nicely with the white xbox. :-D <insert star wars reference to the dark side>

thats a fan made movie off of gamespot. but its still a nice video.

Now that's a bit gay ;-) Just kidding...

Dunno, which one I'd pick colourwise...

BUT, the PS3 maybe ahead in terms of raw procwssing power, but it will be way harder to programm stuff for it...

Yea... Doesn't look too ergonomic. I don't play so much games anymore, maybe I'll just buy PS2 when it goes cheaper... Then when PS4 comes out, I can buy PS3. :D

heres a few more to drool over

i still dont get how the devlopment team ticked the ergonomics box when this came thoguh
