Today, I went to a race track .
My girl friend bought me a pass ( don't know how to say that)
to drive a porsche 911 (993 carrera RS) on this race track during 15 laps

I'd never drive on race track before and the most powerful car that I tried was a renault 5 gt turbo (about 140 hp..nice but not crazy).

today, this Porsche ws about 320 hp (with tubi exhaust and air cooled engine)


The 911 is really a good car and I 'm still hearing the noise of this engine !

I overtook a small Ferrari 355 and some other Porsche
(obviously with some other rookies like me !)

I was my dream: drive a 911

Now : I have to buy one !! (such a good car)

I love my girl friend!

cool man...and how did it drive? My girl always says I can't buy a Porsche because they are bad cars. I know that's just crap.

But she knows a guy who owned a Porsche and he sais they are not nice to drive. He did a 180 spin once with one.

to answer everybody:
It's was in France (near Paris) on a small race track named as the french race driver: Jean Pierre Beltoise)

It costs 180 Euros (!) (I think, it's about 250 USdollars)

the Porsche has a lot of torque and power but this old one's handling is good
not as difficult as I thought.
after 10 laps it begins to get a bit scary but ... what a fun !!!!!!!!!!!!
over 180 km/h in small line about 800 meters with a huge braking at the end
and some tricky left-rights.

there are a lot of places where you can drive supercars...
in Luxenburg and Germany

normally its less than 200 euro's for a one hour drive....

Sounds awesome. Porsche's drive like a dream. I test drove the boxster, 996, and 997.....but that can't compare to taking them on a race track!
