No Top Gear Airing Today

Before you ask and go looking around sites for today’s Top Gear torrent, I just thought I’d point out again that due to women’s soccer (aka football), Top Gear won’t be airing today. They’ll be back next week though as far as I know.

now i hate to be the ass and all...but shouldn't it be "Women's Football (aka soccer)"

since it's known as football/futebol everywhere else in the world...

i this soccer is more known and is preffered.... through my adventures in different countries, i heard the term "soccer" most...very few called it football.... don't why but thats the case.

But, at least, in SoCal they sometimes call tabletop soccer "foosball", which is pretty close to football.
In fact, it sounds exactly like the German word for soccer. It's just spelled differently, in German it's "Fu?ball". Dunno if the term "foosball" really comes from the German name tho...

American football should be called Handball! Look what they're using most of the time.

that's more appropriate and I don't think any one else is using that name last time I checked, so it wouldn't be stealing either. And it solves the whole hand vs. foot issue too
