It’s here! And it’s glorious!
Full pictures to follow, I’ll let you guys come up with an interesting way to prove ownership.

Also, wide car is wide. Barely fits a normal parking spot. Good thing it’s got a million cameras and driver aids

I dig it.

This is probably what I would get if someone told me to get an EV. I like it better than the chonky hatchback, as awesome as the design on that one is.

Nice. I could live with the back, as odd as it is and it still looks great everywhere else. Would be my go-to EV now but it's still bigger than I would want.

And there’s something wrong immediately… car was ordered with 19” wheels and a sunroof, but delivered with 20” prettier wheels but without sunroof.

Dealer and lease company are looking into it (as now the car no longer fits the budget due to no fault of my own)…

To be continued….

Wheels can be changed, luckily. And now you got a stiffer car? :p

Not off to the best start: crack in the headlight, letting water/moisture in. Also, no floor mats

So back to the dealer we go

It feels like they're throwing these together in a bit of a hurry to meet demand.

It does seem that way. My coworker also ordered an EV6 and had the whole ‘no heating’ problem (in winter!), then a whole score of software updates (each of which required the car to go to the dealer) and the latest thing was a non opening doorhandle on the driver’s door.

Small issues (except the heating) and all covered and fixed under warrantee), but still, hassle for the ens user….

I love the EV6 and the Ioniq 5.

I might be tempted by the 5 N when it gets released sometimes in the future.

a non opening doorhandle on the driver’s door.

Please tell me that you can still enter and exit the car with a dead battery.

I have few convictions, buying a car where I don't need to break into it if I dare to forget to switch the headlights off is one of them.

One would hope even the Koreans have figured out by now how to put automatic headlights in their cars. Unlike the Japanese.

yeah of course, it has a hidden oldskool lock behind the doorhandle. It's just that my coworkers car, doesn't "open" its doorhandles automatically when he approaches, so he has to manually *roll eyes* open his doors. Got it fixed now.

Aaaand.... Mine'll be OK too. I'll be keeping the car (minus the sunroof, but with the larger/prettier wheels). Just need to get that headlamp repaired and I'll be good to go

My light units got some light moisture in them over the winter but not enough to merit any action. I'm not even sure if the warranty covers that.
