During the Porsche festival at Rudskogen Raceway, there was a couple of rounds of the Norwegian GT championship with the three classes of GT+, GT1, and GT3. Since this was a little different from the Porsche event, I thought it would be OK to put this in a separate thread. GT+ are the most extreme cars that have very little limitations on them, they frequently run more than 1000 hp and extreme aero. The GT1 cars are more like GTE cars, like Audi R8 LMS, 911 GT3 R etc. Whereas the GT3 cars are the same as "international GT3" or so.
This was the last race of the season, at the entry list was a little bit lacking, so many of the most extreme cars were not there, such as Vidar Frogner with his 1100 hp 993 GT2.
This Stealth B7 is in the GT+ category, it has an 800 hp V8 out of a Nascar.
It's not easy to recognize it, but there is a Lotus Esprit underneath everything here. It's powered by a twin turbo Audi V8 engine with 1100 hp:
This Audi R8 was in GT1:
This Lamborghini Huracan was also a GT1 car:
Two Corvette C6s were also in the GT1 category:
A Viper was also in the GT1 category, not running very well, you can just about see the smoke coming out here:
Now for some GT3 cars, first this Z4:
Two Porsche 997 GT3s, one converted from a 997.2 road car, the other is a Cup car:
A 718 GT4 Clubsport:
As a bonus Dennis Hauger also did some laps to show off his F2 car:
