looks like it may work underwater with that snorkel

Do all supercars end up butchered at the end of their lives? They start off being so pure in design, and then more fins, spoilers, scoops, trays, bulges, pockets, you name it get stuck on and they end up looking ridiculous.

Witness the original Lamborghini Countach

Compared to one of the last ones (the hideous 25th anniversary model)

that little snorkel thing just ruined it :( ... without that... it would be an awesome car :D
exactely! why is that thing so ugly? :x

i think tats a photoshopped
it looks retarded...who in their rite mind would do tat?

*Looks again at snorkle*

That can't be true, how do you wanna go underwater with that car?

And that doesn't look like a very aeodynamic snorkle. It's more like that F1 airthing behind the driver.

well... I think it helps with the cooling system of the MR car... the SW20 MR2 had it as well... well thats at the side... not the middle

That NSX is ugly but so are those two lambo pics someone posted. Vents and spoilers are good if used rightly.
NSX just looks like a way cheaper car than it actually is.

Looks like it has been slapped on at the last minute.

I think they did it for the Japan GT Race to help with the cooling system and they decided to keep it for the road car

I actually prefer that 25th anniversary edition over the original. The original just looks like Miura's younger, rock'n roll twin. What makes Countach great is it's sheer outrageousness, and it was made outrageous by all those fins, scoops, and the huge rear wing.

That's a different story, this NSX is all another matter. It's hideous, why on earth couldn't they make that airbox lower and wider. That cannot be aerodynamically efficent, can it?

It's like the aftermarket air scoop you see on some MR2s driving around. Only it has one running down one side of the roof, not down the middle. And it has those buttresses to conceal it, not a wraparound rear screen.
