Nurburgring Webcam

ok, the sunroof wasn't on all regular e34 toruing models, the wheels could be installed afterwards, the wing mirrors don't look like the regular m5 touring's (too oval!?), but the bumper...you're damn right about the bumper. :thumbsup:
lotsa people change the wing mirrors for more recent ones, so i guess even if they don't seem to be there this could very well be an m5 touring indeed. superb spot! :)

perhaps it's an M-sport package like you can get with some regular BMWs. i remember in jeremy's review of the citroen C6 he compared it to a 5-series with an M5 bumper.
 
i don't know for sure but afaik the m-sport pack. for the e34 was only available for a short time in the US at the end of the e34 production when the M5 model was not sold there anymore.
 
there is a company somewhere around the ring (called the M-GMBH :D) that built the last e39 m5 to station wagons....veeeeeeeerry exclusive :) i dont think more than 5 were made....
