Its coming!! I got a great cam and a 512mb and 32mb memory cards, im ready.

BUT...

It would be nice to have the SL and other cars to myself and not get ppl in my shot. Does anyone know how to get press passes??

they give it to you, and no you won't get one. if it was that simple, everyone would  don't try to be smarter than anyone. Instead dress up like you're usually, as a black rapper wannabe, just put all your bling and fake you're Jay Z or sumthin' talk like that it's mad tite yo dawg, I wanna get a ride in tha SL, can u put spinnarz on it?

Hi!

I would say press passes are very hard to get.

You could try to get in looking like a waiter, that's what I did with a friend at the Frankfurt Autoshow. I've been there before but never during press days, it was awesome!

But maybe you're lucky and somebody can help you out, I doubt it though...

Have you tried emailing the company thats organizing everything?

if that doesn't work you could try all the brands displaying their cars?

so it looks like slim to none i guess.

thats fine but if I could have entered during press day that would be nice.

maybe I should act like a rapper yo.

Try going on friday, there is usually a lot less people there then. I think schools are also closed that day cuz of Good Friday....

You usually just apply for a press-pass for car shows. Look around on their website, there is usually a press section on there somewhere. Generally they will ask for a CV, a link to a website with professional quality photographs or a list of publications you've had your photos in.

If you have a really slick website with some really good photographs, that will sometimes get you a pass. A friend of mine gets press passes all the time, usually by applying with his website a source.

They will have time to go during a day off from school. duh.

And I dont have a good website or any for that matter.

When I do go it will be during the week so there should be less children there and ppl but on press day it is far less people still and more time to ask for cars to be opened and looked at etc, that normally wouldnt be able to on regular days.

noo..i went last year on the 25th and there were not a lot of people there copmpared to some other days i went from previous years....
I'm about positive that the 25th is the first day since its the "Public Sneak Preview".

Who's the Brazilian guy on the site that works for a car magazine? Maybe he could get it for you somehow. :dunno:

I work for a car-mag, but I won't be able to get any passes. They are given to my boss, Carl. He came back today from the Geneva one ..
