Former NSW Detective turned killer, Roger Rogerson, dies in prison hospital, aged 83.

There was a two part tv miniseries made about his crooked dealings and criminality while in the police force, called Blue Murder, & Blue Murder: Killer Cop.
At the time of his death, he and another former detective were serving life sentences for the murder of a 20 year old drug dealer in 2014.

He had been suspected or proven to be involved in a number of underworld killings much earlier, as well as depositing large sums of money into his own accounts under fake names - for which he was finally dismissed from the police force.
