I'm too young for the Andy Griffith Show but I've known about it forever. I did, however, grow up watching Matlock. It was on every day after Perry Mason - still is actually (in Portland). I had actually been watching them all again recently since I can't watch it on tv anymore. He was a pretty big part of my childhood so I was really sad to hear about this.

Posieden Adventure and loads of 1940/50s westerns, WW2 films etc, he had a great catalog & career. Great working character actor, sad loss.

Never the star, but a supporting actor who always dominated the screen. Excellent career

Aged 95 is a long life, and it sounds like he did many of the things he wanted to. No shame in that, my fine sir. :)

Let's not forget Airwolf. I never missed an episode growing up.

That's really sad. Makes me feel how out of time my taste in music is.
If I was 20 in the late 60s/early 70s, when most of my favourite music, cars and clothing was produced I'd be in my 60s now...

Hell, vast amounts of the music on my iPod was recorded by people who have now passed away. Kind of sad, but their legacy lives on.
