The official HL2 deathmatch was released tonight. 8)
 
Half Life 2 was delivered without a multiplayer mode. There were a lot fans of the old HL Deathmatch mode so Valve decided to release one for HL 2.
 
Or they couldn't finish it on time, which is more likely in valve's case :)


I've played a few maps, the magnum is too powerfull, but the rest is great, love picking up toilets with your gravity gun and smashing ppl :)
 
^^ Yeah, chances are Valve messed up again.
At the moment it is very laggy. It might just be me. Do any of you Guys get good pings ?
 
Yeah, i got the same feeling, my ping seemed ok though, but i do have to play a bit more to be sure.
 
Not really laggy here, but it gets old fast. There needs to be teamplay or something - something to give it an objective.

the HL2 graphics are amazing... unlike Counter-strike where the blood is inbelievably fake :lol:

Not from Valve, but some 3rd parties are working on mods that would allow you to.

Not my clan, but I'm in it. We play the Battlefield series and we're one of the top clans. We're currently playing the Point of Exsistence mod for Battlefield Vietnam and will be switching to Battlefield 2 probably once that's out.
