Smart of them to keep it to Europe. That thing wouldn't sell here.

And WTF is with the HUGE ass clutch pedal?

there's bits of that I like, and bits I'm really not sure of (argh it's got an engine start button... )

wha? you're not looking at the *footrest* by any chance are you??
footrest > clutch > brake > throttle

footrest > clutch > brake > throttle

have to agree with you on that one, I think in general I like the look, but I do think there are things I'd like changed before I bought one.

:lmao: that's prolly the dead pedal you're looking at ;)

EDIT: Anyway, that looks nice, I like it, I wish Americans weren't so...stupid when it comes to the way a car looks, or it's size for that matter. I think I'll move to Europe soon :p

overall I do like it - but it's just some the details like the clear plastic 'grille' and the dash that looks like the starship enterprise control room that I'm not keen on. I think it will grow on me though.

actually the more I look at it here the more I'm liking it

That thing looks pretty mad... and is the steering wheel made out of wood? What's with the texture?

^^

i agree, analog dials are the best, although i have to say that the tacho looks awesome, as with the rest of the dash.

Dad's car has an accelerator ;) pedal that huge, pivots at the floor rather than just 'hanging' off the rod thingy like the brake and clutch pedals... he says it's easier to control the throttle response than it is in my car or mum's which have the pedal 'hanging'...

Looks like he's going pretty fast inside that studio, and without a driver too! :p

I like the colors in the interior, and the exterior looks more like recent Acuras than like recent Hondas, and overall it looks like someone has actually bothered to style the car, which I like.

Well, I guess since there's no Acura in Europe they decided to use the materials on this Civic that they would otherwise use here on an Acura, makes sense, since Europeans demand better interiors. :)

I hope the design reaches other markets too, and it gets sold as a Honda instead of an Acura. *cough*European Accord*cough*

I know we saw concept pics of the new Civic months ago, but I was still afraid that it was going to end up looking like a smaller version of this fella:

Nissan needs to take a look at this. The interior is cool. Nissan's "high tech" centre dash on the Quest is horrible. This <points to that interior pic> is how high tech should look like.

I think it looks great :) Very modern-ish

I don?t get the dashboard....on the small diplay I see 108....and in the big diaplsy I see 126....
The back is a little strange, other than that, I like it!

PS: Can?t wait for the Type R

The 108 is MPG, strange as it might sound. Wishful thinking on Honda's behalf?

I think, just speculating here since I don't have a high res pic, that the smaller says either 10.8 or 108 MPG. :)

EDIT: damn, had the window open too long, shawn beat me to it :p
