Anyone one know what codec I need or program can play .ogm files...this particular one is a movie.

Well, yes, I used google. When I put a search in for ".ogm" all the sites that come up were in another language. Anyway yeah, thanks, won't be asking for help anymore here.

you can restrict google's search to search english only pages btw....
Not that I mean that you shouldn't have asked here, just a general tip for future searches

I just rename them to .avi and they seem to work after I installed the Ogg directshow filters.

Sorry for my rather pesimistic response. All I typed was ".ogm files" and found a result, so I just couldn't see what the problem was at all. Guess I must be more google friendly or something :?

No, I bet he only typed "ogm". But if you add "files" or "file extension" you're going to have much better results.
