Ohio Governor John Kasich has established a "center for self-driving cars" with the intent of attracting researchers, developers and manufacturers to the state.

When this first became a topic, I thought it was just tech for tech's sake, but I'm warming to it. Looking at myself and all my over-65 friends, I can see this being a real boon to those willing to utilize it.

I?d love to see a self driving car navigate the German village of Columbus. Narrow brick roads with blind intersections much of the streets single lane due to cars parked on both sides.

Though, this looks to be highway driving. Perhaps once technology is improved, they?ll move to city centers.
