Is there a game for the PS2 or PC where you can

- tune-up your car like in the GT series (hopefully with noticeable changes unlike GT4)
- drift/touge on tracks that suits it
- style your car with paint, decals, kits etc

AND that has good handling/physics, graphics and lifespan?

There are the Kaido Battle games on the PS2. I played Kaido Battle 2 at my cousin's house, and it was pretty fun. Official races during the day and illegal drifing/touge during the night. You can tune your cars, but I don't know if you can add vinyls. It's Japan-only though.

hehe josty, you know I've played LFS... it's just missing something to make it a game I want to play... I don't know what, it just hasn't got the 'x factor' that the more commercial titles, i guess. No car licenses, bland graphics, nothing to just erm 'do' between races etc.. i just don't know why I don't love LFS when I probably should, maybe it's just too dry.

I'm actually tempted to try NFSU2 or MC3 now, even though I 'know' they have crap handling. I wish something like Kaido battle would make it to PAL release though (sounds great, even though I know nothing about graphics and handling yet :p)
