Ok I made this, you need to say what it represents...

I have to make an object with different materials and the one object has to represent 2 contradictions.
Like:
thin - fat
open - closed
love - hate
hot - warm
dark - light

Etc, etc, could be Anything.

I have to do it to learn how to deform shapes and use it in another way then you would do it in the first way.

So let's see if I did a good job, what contradiction does this represent?

Btw, the pic is bad quality the bottom side is conrete, the twisted cube is clay and a metal spring.

Hmm I included another pic because the spring is pointing upwarths and that's actually lots important.

You (I think Lederlieber deleted his lol, edit: and he join again hehe) haven't guessed it btw, and yeah it can be seen in lots of different ways.

But the spring pointing up is important.

From those you mentioned it could be thin - fat, or if we interpret it quite loosely it could also be open - closed.

Can't make up anything own...

square and round?

This is how I see it:

1st section is the cube
2nd section is where the cube starts to rotate
3rd section is the spring which is rotating

Make sense?

top and bottom?

Just a guess....I'm not real sure ;)

EDIT: I think UKD is right

I see how you're making that conclusion, could be the one, but it isn't.

If you look from the side the bottom side IS square but the top side is NOT round...

I think looking from the side is the best way to discover.

Hmm square and round doesn't really fit the explaination you gave, the explaination is more like mine.

And look at the shape and direction of the 3 parts.

from the side I think thin and fat fits it pretty good, but that's not it, eh?

I'd say square - circle.

edit:\\ I will read topics before i post I will read topics before i post I will read topics before i post I will read topics before i post I will read topics before i post I will read topics before i post I will read topics before i post I will read

Haha @ Swek.

And no it's still not guessed.

Direction is the keyword..Follow the lines with your eye and you should have the contradiction.

striaght and curvy? :?

EDIT: UKD beat me too it!!!!!

No, again follow the lines with your eyes and see what happens (with your eyes for instance) and see what happens at the bottom and at the top.

Now that's a hint...:D

Lol @ Jeffy (check UKD;))

Nope Lederlieber. :D

I guess it's not a good sign that you guys take so long.

But when I explain I think it will be clear. Altough that's too late.

up/down and left/right??? This is a tricky one
