talking about old PC games, what do u still play if any?

I still play SOF2

I don't play anything but LFS now. 8)

But some games I spent a LOT of time with in the past:
Transport Tycoon (1st part), Sim city 2000, Warcraft 1st part, Stunts.
edit: Oh, and NFS1, that rocked my world!!!

As for really really old games, Prince of persia obviously, a race game called Lotus, Test Drive 1 (still in pink/grey color combination), Tetris, Sokoban (sp?, the one where you push around boxes).

Still like to pull out Myst and either go through the proper way to solve it, or go straight to the library on the island and solve it in 5 minutes.

And I don't know if it is considered old but I also spent alot of time playing Command and Conquer 8)

Which Command and Conquer? One of my friends from school is coming next weekend and we always played Generals and Zero hour, when we were drunk, so I need to find my CD's....

I still fire up the original Pirates! and Pirates Gold! from time to time. Some of the best games ever. Sid Meier is the man.

The first one :D

Must have program for anyone who likes old PC games --> DOSBox

I was playing the shareware version of Raptor: Call of the Shadows a few months ago, along with the Sam & Max: Hit the Road demo. On the console front, I own the Sonic Gems collection (Sonic the Fighters, Sonic CD, Sonic R and 6 Game Gear Sonic games), and now I'm tempted to buy the Mega Collection as well.

Also, I recently bought The Curse of Monkey Island 3 & 4!

Streets of Sim City! The bastard child of the Sim games. Basically, drive around in the cities you've lovingly created and nurtured, and blow up stuff. I love it. Makes me feel like I was 10, which isn't that far off, actually. :p

Too bad it doesn't work for XP. Damn you Bill Gates! :x

I still play (and lovin' every minute of it) old adventure games like the Monkey Island series, Beneath a steel sky, Sam 'n' Max, Day of the tentacle, Full Throttle etc. from time to time

chaos386, I loved Raptor as well... I played it maybe 6 months ago for the last time...

The oldest game I reguarly play is Civilisation 2. Ordered 4 last night, had better be good. I play old games quite often, anything from Janes Fleet Command to Operation Flashpoint (6 years old now if that counts). Actually I play flashpoint more than a lot, it's my main game. I'm one of the "graphics maketh not a game" crowd. IF the game is fun I don't care how it looks. Downloaded Seven Kingdoms the other day. Took me 4 days on the slowest torrent ever but was worth it. If only the underdogs wasn't so riddled with spyware.....

i'd love to play NFS1 again, but i can't get it to work on XP.

I recently finished Sam and Max Hit the Road and Day of the Tentacle. Also had Syndicate in my older Win 98 PC (now it's a Linux box) for a long time. I wasn't even planning on playing, but I ended up playing whenever I got bored of the fancy 3D graphics of today :) I also have handy a copy of Doom2, in case one day at a LAN party my mates and I get nostalgic and feel like some good ol' Coop demon-busting... Which it almost always ends up happening once we get tired of beating the crap out of one another in Quake 4 or Flat Out

Gotta download DOSBox and try Raptor again. I wonder if it will still be so incredibly addictive...

Have been using ScummVM (emulator for old Lucas Arts games) and played through Full Throttle and The Dig, going to play more of them. Like Sam and Max and so on. But right now Im playing Mafia.

"Green never tasted so...bubbly." :D
I had that game too, but my family's computer at the time was too crappy to play it at a decent frame rate (133MHz Pentium), and now that I have a decent PC, the game won't run under XP. :(

For anyone who's interested, you can still buy Raptor, it's just that USD$16 might be a bit much to ask for a game this old.

And to everyone who liked games like Day of the Tentacle, Curse of Monkey Island, Grim Fandango, etc., buy Psychonauts. Seriously. You'll thank me later. ;)
