I like the black paint and I like the rims, but I'm not a fan of the wing at all. I couldn't imagine getting rid of the stock STi wing.

Has anyone read the issue of Sport Compact Car where they gut an STi, paint it primer grey and rip the wing off? While I was reading it I felt like I was witnessing a brutal murder. :cry:
 
I hate the spoiler and the black paint. IMO, black really kills any personality a car might have. Now white.... wow, that really makes all the snazz and pizz-azz and details stick out. Really shows if you care about your car or not, too.
 
I love it in black myself. 8)

Black paint is actually much harder to keep up than white. It may seem odd, but black actually shows dirt and scratches a lot more than white. If you look closely at even an extremely well-kept black car you'll most likely notice a lot of small scratches. White covers things like that up a lot better.

Even something as innocent as writing your name in the dust\dirt on a black car will permanently scratch the paint. A friend of mine has a black car and if you look at it at certain angles in certain light, you can see large heart shapes and "I Love You" message left over from the previous owner's boyfriend. :?
 
^^ Yeah keeping a black car clean is a bitch (used to have one).
One thing I dislike with STIs in colors other than blue is that the interior color is still blue no matter what the exterior color is (at least this was the case for 2004 USDM models).
 
I never thought a White Evo would look so good... never seen a white evo 8 over here... most of them are Red or Black
 
This is odd. 3 out of 4 cars my dad has bought are black and the issue of dirt never seemed bother me. Black goes well with everything.

Zyran... are you sure... I have a black rx-7 and its a bitch to keep clean... esp. when its been raining for the past 2 wks... I have to wipe it every Saturday and Sunday before I go out
 
If I had either of those cars it would be the evo with the sti's colours. Black cars look so much nicer. True, they can look dirty but nothing a bit of pride in you car can't clean!

Exactly. I have a friend with a black Supra and a friend with a black 240SX - it's really difficult for them to keep their cars looking clean. They have to wash their cars way more than I have to wash mine.

THe black thing looks dumb compared to the sexy mitsu. And it's STOCK! hahahaha! imagine what it'd look like with some mods
 
Viper007Bond i am use to seeing evo's with high stock wings. that evo wing is honeslty shit. the only time i seen a evo with a low wing like that is a evo GTA which is for a someone who cant clutch, and if u cant clutch ur better off with something else
