Russian spacecraft are famous for being able to launch, orbit and land on fully autonomous control. The Buran space shuttle imitation (which only flew twice) is no exeception, landing itself after a mission.

Perhaps this should explain why Russian superbike riders are able to go on "precision maneuvering mode" to avoid hitting car mirrors.. if not the cars themselves. Or maybe, like the Buran space shuttle, the bike is on autonomous navigation mode.

Also in Russia, and only Soviet Russia, would military engineers watch airships flying in anime...


And make one for themselves. With a brace of giant missiles to get rid of aircraft carriers in one's path, if you will.

Russian police have no pistols? How unrussian. Of course traffic cops there don't have the best reputation, they see the black and white wand as a means to fatten their own wallet. It's not unusual to be escorted to a ATM to make a withdrawal for made up offenses.

I think you will find that in many countries, some alot less 'exotic' then Russia.
 
I wouldnt be surprised to find it in Serbia or Albania etc but those places are pretty exotic. I'd put africa of course and the middle east and parts of asia on that list too.
 
Add Germany, the Netherlands or Belgium to that list as well, for foreigners anyway.
 
I wouldnt dream of german officers handing out made up tickets to anyone.
 
Made up, maybe not, although in cases where you cannot proof your innocence, people have claimed that that has happened, mostly with red light offences in the middle of the night.
 
They will under some circumstances escort you to the nearest ATM where you must then get the cash to pay your fine on the spot. But I don't think many German cops would make up (traffic) charges, that's the "job" of the special units who deal with protesters and football fans. For instance, chestnuts thrown at these wannabe Terminators tend to magically become cobblestones during the prosecution.
