Original Gone in 60 seconds

Just saw an original Gone in 60seconds movies (1974)...
And can only say that the old movies are better than most of the current hollywood crap...
There are no special visual effects and etc. - just original stunts, and the hole scenario is better..
anyone with me?

There have been threads about this movie before. Bottom line: it's crap. Awfully directed, crappy actors, shitty story, not only the longest but also the most boring car chase ever... I hate remakes, but this is a rare case where the remake is actually better (although that one wasn't brilliant either).
