05:00, Fiesta ST can hear me coming and makes room, thanks
05:28, I stop to let the bus pass (those things take the whole road in tight corners)

Seen yesterday:

Original Zürich fire department VW Beetle from the 1970s, and a La Salle ambulance from the early 1940s...

Apparently they still belong to the city of Zürich as a elderly official was preparing them for a car meet...

... and when he saw me taking pictures he asked me if a wanted to see "the other ones", and to have a look into this nondescript civil defense bunker...

... amongst other things there was a complete fire unit from 1939, consisting of a Saurer ladder truck...

... and a Saurer personnel carrier / pump truck. - Everything in pristine condition. "Still fully operational", as the guy proudly explained.

Later on, Ferrari 328...

... great car. Slow by todays standards, but still. Great car.

The modern equivalent: Ferrari F12

BMW Z8

Another F12

Ferrari 488 Spider

Shelby GT

No clue what this was. Clarification needed.

Porsche GT3 RS

And this thing. It may be efficient and all, but the design... ack.

Sadly this thread seems to be less busy since armedcats has frozen over. :(

Anyway, can somebody shed light on what this car from my post above was? - Here's a closeup, but I can't quite make out the badge:

I was intrigued so I spent the last hour doing some digging to try and find this thing, and got nowhere. Then I changed tactics and looked at the German plate prefix and the car manufacturer there. What you saw was a QUANT 48VOLT. The company nanoPRODUCTION apparently make the car in Waldshut, Germany but nanoFlowcell, the battery company is based in Kilchberg, Switzerland. Presumably the car has been going between the two places and is a test car of some kind. Nice spot! :D

That car looks like the one shown in Geneva last year, which explains the plate too. Shitty VB5 is swear filtering the name of the site or something so here's a tinyURL...

^ Yeah, I could see him pedaling by his body movement. - What I meant with efficiency was that you can get this thing probably to a good speed on a flat road, but it looks so utterly dorky.
