Is the suspension fucked on that Z4 or is it just full of Americans?

That thing was a Reliant Kitten at one point according to the DVLA! By the wires hanging out and the extension lead I've decided that it's electric, however unlikely that may be.

I'm not sure of the exact model of the International, but I am not sure I've ever seen a crew cab step side.

it's got an exhaust?
i think it's just crappy wiring and he needs his battery hooked up or it would drain immediately

It's a 1974 or 1975 International Harvester 100-series (formerly 1210) Travelette. The fleetside bed version is rare today, the stepside version is stuuuuuuuuuuuuupid rare.

From the last month or so:

Two current model Aston Martin Vantages coming from an off-ramp at the Autobahn - the Aston Martin dealership and a gas station are to the left, no idea why they were turning right...

An Opel Rekord C just outside my home

My town centre was closed today for a classic car show, some really interesting stuff turned up.

Survivor Saab 99, in white with fascinating headlight wiper mechanism.

Nice Golf GTIs.

Vindicator V4 - badly framed. Has Volvo S40 tail lights.

Enough lights? Even the wing has some.

Nice 309 GTI Goodwood. Good wood indeed. Partially shown in the image above too.

Cannon trials car, based on an Austin 7.

Gorgeous Standard Vanguard 6. There was also a 1949 Ford Ute but I forgot to get a photo and that's a red DB7 in the foreground.

I guess the owner takes the piss out of people draping their road cars in rallye liveries.

Right?

Right?

Please don't tell me the owner thinks by bolting a bazillion lights and whatnot onto a car he makes it into a rallye car...

The contribution for this thread:

BMW M3 CS (limited to 1200 units, if it's the real deal, not just a badge-job)

Volvo P1800ES

Always loved the P1800 in either form.

Amazing any have survived since they were built in the West Midlands in ‘60s and ‘70s Britain.

Someone brought along a Volvo 544 this morning, totally forgot to take a photo. The P1800 is probably prettier though.

That is stunning.

You can also make him feel even more pleased when you point out it was the first model of car driven by James Bond in the movies.

Okay, some random sightings from the past few weeks:

On the weekend of June the 8th there was a VW meet in my city. So I took some pictures of what I found interesting:

I didn't feel like taking pictures of old stanced Golfs in a variety of ways, there were many of those, so I focused on something you don't see that often on the roads. Sorry for the crappy pictures, the sun was way too bright that day.

And then on July the 15th my dad spotted the same thing @Mitchi spotted two months ago. I saw the car myself before I think two times, but it was always while I was driving, so I never had an opportunity to take a picture of it.

And I think in some weird way, the colour scheme works. Fits the wackiness of it.

On June the 22th I spotted this wonderfully well kept (or perhaps well restored?) BMW 520i E28 on historic plates:

This Tuesday, I spotted something really rare. A Series 1 Lancia Fulvia Berlina. It was on a towing van, my brother spotted it first and told me to look through the window of our building. I rushed downstairs to get pictures of it, but two people approached the towing van, my social anxiety kicked in and I waited behind a tree for them to pass so I can take a picture instead of politely asking them to take pictures of it. Anyway, that explains why the picture is so crappy:

And finally, yesterday I spotted this oddity. I don't know what it exactly is, but it appears to be a home-made bobtail Toyota Hilux crew cab. Correct me if I'm wrong. I like how it's beaten up and everything.
