Spring was in the air today, so someone brought out their Z3, long since the last time I saw one of those in Oslo:

I have been on a trip to Copenhagen, and I saw a few interesting cars there. Starting with this Defender pickup used as a company car for this cafe:

Then there was also a new Defender 90, have only seen a few of these in the wild:

A priceless classic, an Aston Martin DB6:

An E-30 BMW 3-series that looked like it was in a nice shape from across the street:

The Type 4 is the product of a conservative VW leadership trying their absolute hardest to not have to cave in and move to water cooled front mounted engines. The Passat would come along in 1973 and the Golf and Polo after that.

Yes, I know the Volkswagen K70 had been out for a couple of years before the Passat but it never sold well.

Here's the EA266 concept, a fine example of how far VW top brass went to try to stick to rear engine/rear drive.

1. The Mustang appears to be a '65, but the first 3 years are difficult to tell apart - and this one has a few mods.
2. Eye-Q is spot-on with the 412 ID.
3. The Ford is a '63 Galaxie, but it has had most of its trim removed, so it's not possible to say if it started life as a Galaxie 500 or just a plain Galaxie. I'd be inclined to guess that it wasn't a 500.

I'm a bit fuzzy on these years, but best guess would be a 1963 Galaxie, might be the mid year facelift or a 1964.

Thanks to both of you. I took another walk around it yesterday, and all of the trim and most badges were removed, it’s also modified, the guy who owns it likes big V8s and mods.

And finally, a Porsche 968 Convertible, these are super rare, the 968 is probably the least common of the Porsche FR-transaxle cars:
