And today, after coming home, a very nice example of a Volvo 240:

According to the wikipedia article a maximum of 600 cars will be built so it's a very rare sight indeed, almost as rare as a Bugatti Veyron (total production number 450 units) or a Chiron (planned production just 500 units).

This Buick RIviera lives across the street. Seems like it could be a 1969, maybe?

I'm a little (a lot) unsure of what the purple one is. I'm a unclear about the Duster/Road Runner/Baracudda cars of this era, because it seems like there were multiple versions of each, with some crossovers. I think the body looks most like a Duster, but it has Road Runner stripping and decals...but I don't think those are actually authentic/accurate. [edit: My uncle tells me it's a 1973 Plymouth Road Runner]

Mustang, and I *think* it's a 1968.

VW Beetle...I believe that little crescent-shaped vent behind the rear side window means that it's from around 1968-75-ish.

Unteresting.
Weird to read that it has the Ford 2,3 in it, developing 400 hp.
That's no slouch by any means, but it sounded like it was powered by God itself and had about 14000 hp. I was expecting hypercar performance from something that looks so purpose built and ridiculous

For reference, it has a 20% better power-to-weight than the most recent Dodge Viper ACR.

I'm working in a horseshoe shaped street and there is a shortcut so you don't have to drive on the main road to make a loop. Additionally, there are some high end garages and a luxury car dealership in that street so there are quite often test drives of expensive cars in that street. This time a guy drove around about 10 times so I decided to get a picture. Yes, that's a very old open wheel formula car which is almost certainly not road legal...
