Other Random Car Sightings [Photo Required]

American moves to Germany, awful American cars (Challenger excluded) follow him.

Speaking of which, that plate on the Challenger isn't a North Carolina plate. That's some weird amalgam of a modern NC plate, a German (?) plate and someone's imagination.

First time I'm seeing one of these here, the Lucid Air in Oslo:

I really like the solar flower in the first pic.
I hadn't noticed that until you mentioned it, that is cool. I wonder if it automatically unfolds or if it's manual.

That style tends to be automatic, including following the sun. 🧙‍♂️

Edit:

It may be this system.

Fancy fancy!

Is it law that Switzerland cars have the Swiss "CH" sticker on them? I mean, the plate is different and shows the swiss plus shield. I get it when we had no country designation, but I'm almost certain I've seen every swiss car with "CH" on the back somewhere.

^ It's a law, yes. But the sticker is only mandatory when the car is driven in foreign countries, based on international agreements that a cars' land of origin must be indentifiable by the country code. Granted there is a swiss shield on the plates but it isn't valid, as the agreements demand the country code in letters. - So we still have to have the sticker. - It's one of these things where everyone agrees that it's all a bit stupid, but simply too expensive to change. It has to be said that the swiss car plates are unchanged since 90 years, so there is also a sort of tradition hurdle. :ROFLMAO:

Btw, I never placed a CH sticker on any of my cars. Had it only when it was already there when I bought the car. - Maybe I'm going place a sticker on the Twizy. :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

And the smallest "car" ever: A Poni K, 10km/h (6.2mph), 40km (25mi) range, 6h charging, is allowed to drive anywhere and everywhere and no licence is required (hence no plates)
