It is a Subaru alright, namely the SVX. According to wikipedia there were only about 25k worldwide, 2/3rd of them in the US, just 10% or less than 2500 in Europe. Given that the newest would be 27 years old now they're indeed extremely rare nowadays more than back then™.

And yet there's two in my small town, at least one of them being used year round. People be strange.

Wohehey, my first Citroen Ami sighting! Somewhat cute thing especially from the front...

... but from all other sides it looks a looks a bit... ahem how should I put this... it's quite big for a tiny car... fat would be the mot juste if I was biased, which I'm absolutely not, of course... LOL - And it's just a shame that the thing can only do 45km/h (28mph), no wonder it took this long until I finally saw one.

Complicate and add weightness.
Jokes aside, not my least favorite electric SUV.

It's an electric car, therefore heavy by design.

On the other hand it has like a SOUSAND horsepowers and is (IMO at least) quite pretty.
It's also not terribly expensive (comparatively, only a Model X comes close)

it's interesting and weird at the very least

With any other badge on it this would be fine, but it makes no sense with the Lotus badge on it. According to Harry Metcalfe it also has a relatively terrible range, maybe they did that to try and save weight.

Yeah, I don't want an electric SUV, but if I had to choose one, the Eletre wouldn't be a bad choice.
