And here's two from today... the Elise was brand new, didn't even have a plate, just temporary insurance. And the guy took of from the lights like it was stolen... didn't sound that great though. But that's ok, because something behind me sounded great... I looked, and it was a navy F430... first one I've seen in that colour.

Nice pics flamingice!! I can't believe there are so many nice cars in Vancouver; I rarely see exotics from where I live in Vancouver, for some odd reason. It's probably the beautiful weather....... :D

Blue 430 looks good, never seen it in that color.

It seems that most of cars you see were in Marine Drive, West Van, and that Elise and 430's looks like Georgia...

BTW, do you have more pics of that Gallardo? I think it's an SE.

Silver Gallardo - Cornwall, parked out on the house's driveway.
Conti GT - Park Royal South, by the old Starbucks (not in the Village).
Ferrari 456M - Turning onto Thurlow from Georgia by the Shangri-La hotel.
Porsche 911 (Blue) - North Shore Auto Mall
Porsche 911 (Black) - Marine Drive by the Capilano Chinese restaurant.
Gray Gallardo - Marine Drive and 15th, by 7/11.
Maserati Quattroporte - Marine Drive (Dundarave)
Vette - Salar's office... but why photograph something like that?
CL55 - Marine Drive (Dundarave) by Caper's, right before Marine turns into a one lane road.
Elise and F430 - Burrard by Georgia right by Hotel Vancouver... in fact that car is mine, did it have a tan interior?

It's a Chevy Malibu... what do you expect? Americans can't make cars, that's factual information right there.

But now they've started putting ads on taxi wheels... as you can see from that picture. It's like a weird plate that goes on and it doesn't rotate... like the logo in the Phantom's wheels.

Gosh those wheel things are stupid. What does it tell people if you decide to advertise your business on the wheels of a dirty Malibu.

I feel sorry for you Canadians because even us Aussies have better cabs than that. Also parts of Europe and Asia have better cabs.

I was speaking in general about the cabs in Canada. But this is the first time I've seen one like that.
 
I agree they look like crap, but who cares? It's a cab... they're all like this in North America. I know Europe has good cabs, but that's Europe.

Besides, nobody takes cabs here. We have an excellent public transportation system. Cabs are for when you're drunk out of your mind and there's no buses running.

P.S. If you advertise on a dirty taxi, it says you're a shitty business and that's all you can afford.

1) Didn't know there used to be a Starbucks near RBC, actually I'm noob to this city, been here for 1 year and a few months.

Saw this today in work's lot, M3 with HAMANN package, looked good in that color.

I said Park Royal South? RBC is on the other side... there's two Starbucks places at Park Royal. One in the Village and one here by where Kin's Farm Market is.

Regarding Denny's... case in point.

Yeah, most cabs here are Mercs of all sorts :p
But then again, they are so damn expensive that no one takes them. Public transport is good enough here.

Yes, I lived near the Children's Hospital. When I was in Vancouver I drive by King Edward and Oak/Granville very frequently, and all I see were old Rolls Royce Silver Shadows, lots of Merc S Class and BMW 7 Series. But very few exotics........

Salar: I'm pretty sure the Gallardo wasn't an SE. For a start I only saw it just after the SE was released here, and my friend says they've seen the same one before... apparently the Gallardo got pulled over doing >160 along the stanley park causeway. I've got one other photo, but it's pretty much a duplicate of the one I posted... I tried to pull alongside it, but the way he was driving, I had absolutely no chance...
