Other Random Car Sightings [Photo Required]

The head designer of Pininfarina is a Japanese guy. Ken Okuyama.

He has designed:

Enzo
612
430
Quattroporte

But the 599 GTB is designed by somebody else. He was American maybe?

F430 was actually designed by Ferrari's own designer, Frank Stephenson. Interestingly Ken Okuyama and Frank Stephenson were art college classmates.

by the way, Ken Okuyama is no longer with Pinnifarina anymore.

I actually wasn't sure about the 430. But it still looks Japanese.

I don't know what's the deal with skinny headlights these days.

Saw this in front the uni today. Some of the students seem to be rather well off.:)
This is the first time i saw the fiorano on the road and i must say i find the F430 a lot prettier.

Somebody else spotted the same car a few days ago

EDIT: Wait, it's the same place. Just noticed that Q7 is in both set of pics.

You know I see the Japanese thing too now. It's like if Infiniti/Nissan produced an R8 competitor.

And some german powertrains outside a paint-shop 300ft from where I live:

Yeah its the same car and place. It may well park there regularly, i dont know i usually park elsewhere, where the parking is for free. I wonder whom does it belong to. I thought it may belong to some successful former graduate, who came to hold a lecture as a guest. But if it parks there regularly, i dont know, it may actually really belong to a student.

I went to a "rally-theme-night" yesterday, sorta like a "tupper ware party" only the host was a rally import company. These pics are from the shop/workshop:

Hot Type R rally-spec straight from Germany. The owner said they take car of their rallycars down there like none other. It's "as new" though it's a '05

Why is there a Porsche Boxter in a rally shop???

Haha, the black rally car to the right on the second to last pick is so not from germany, as it says VI MENN on the side :p

Sorry, I should've realised someone who thinks a melted 360 is the most beautiful car and smuggles that new ugly new evo into every thread wouldn't appreciate the Cali.

I saw this today:

I was quite surprised because it's very rare...

My word...somebody actually bought a renault avantime?:lmao:
I have never ever seen one of those when I've been in Europe, nor have I ever seen a non-press pic of one.

As for the locosts, neither are german, the other one says Veri Kvikk.
Probably some english speaker with a sense of humor.

Bugatti Veyrons shipped to Norway for winter testing:
Here spotted by a random truckdriver on the ferry from Kiel:
They where to low to get in to the "special storage garage" on the ferry - so they had to stand in the "public" room.

Reportedly the cars are loaded with testing-gear and wind-sensors, and new features maybe to bee seen in future cars.
