Other Random Car Sightings [Photo Required]

Which state is this, because I want to move there. I had to go out for a 200 mile drive the day I got my previous car inspected because the check engine had been on and was just fixed.

The reason for the check engine light? Gas cap not on all the way :?

Audi S8. Bad picture because the owner was around. He seemed very proud of it and was washing it all day

That's cleraly not a real german plate. German plates always (the exception proves the rule, for example on historic cars, but there is maximum one letter after the number) have the numbers at the end of the plate, furthermore there are two groups of letters consecutively and there is a space between the two groups of letters (for example WX YZ 123).

I think the plate on that pic is just a custom british plate or just decoration which should look like a german plate but has no official meaning.

I saw one of those crazy Aussie half pickup half muscle car things they had on top gear. Can't fathom why someone would buy on.

crazy Aussie half pickup half muscle car

why not? and you sort of answered yourself really:p

Any fan of GTO anime might find this funny.

A Toyota Cresta driven by a bald middle aged Asian dude that looked like the vice-principle. He's probably a mechanic testing the car.

Some other models that I wish Toyotas would bring back.

Talking about rarity:

Seen today:

Ferrari 250 GTO

https://pic.armedcats.net/l/li/lipadier/2009/11/04/2_GTO.JPG

Of course, it's only a replica from the short wheel base model of the 250 GTO, but it was very convincing on the first few looks. The modern tires and a few details are a give away, but I have to say it was very well made. If they had made a replica from the more known long wheel base model (the race car), it would be even more convincing.

Holly curves batman!! now that's how a GT should look.

btw what camera did u shoot it with. :) I really like the first pic.

I've been to Dubai and I found this.

It's called the F1x3 sponsored by Etisalat and I'd hate to be a passenger for obvious reasons.

Seen yesterday (There were more rarities, but I stopped taking pictures when I noticed the "no pictures" sign, luckily there was no one around)

If that 250 isn't a replica, you win this thread forum.

Yeah, but at the same time: Randomly spotting a parked up 1963' supercar worth a few millions and dismissing it in the internet as a (well made) replica = Car spotter fail deluxe.

Anyway, seen today:

Pontiac Firebird

That mix of black and rusty paintjob looked badass. The car was parked next to a saddlery business which is primarily specialized in leather seats, so I think this is a promising work in progress.
