Like I said, people who can't take photos resort to those angles. :p

Also, are you sure those were 4 murcis or was that green one sporting that paintjob which fades as it gets warmer?

Sorry, late answer:

How does registration work in Switzerland, has he not simply paid for that sign?
Numberplates are person-linked, so you can keep your numberplate if you buy another car, or you can transfer it to a person you choose. This way most swiss numberplates remain with the same family or company for decades. And even if you have no car anymore you can still reserve the plates for a fee for some time (two years at max) until you purchase another car.

Plates under the 100 digit mark or some special ones like "7777" or with round numbers like "10000" or so are rarely sold. And if they are, they are auctioned for thousands of swiss francs.
You can see the auction prices for Thurgau (TG) plates for example at the government website http://www.auktion.tg.ch/ (click on "Besucher"). As expected there are no one- and two digit plates for sale, but the starting bid for random three digit number plates is already at 3000 Sfr. (Around 2800 USD, 2080 EUR, 1830 GBP)

Greetings, lip

decent looking, not flashy 4 door M3. And that?s a good thing IMO, even I almost didn?t notice it and thought it was a normal 3 series.

Happened to see this wicked old Ford at my church. The rumble seat was open too!

2008 Audi R8 V8 in matte black, recently registered to someone in my town. A really rare sight around here. And of course it was parked where it isn't allowed to do so. ;)

Mexican car. A lot of wealthy Mexicans have family here or come up, as in this case to shop. I've seen a Peugeot 406 in my college town, where the average car is a diesel truck :p
