... I don?t doubt the R8 is unproblematic on snow and ice, but these kind of cars usally tend to be stored away in a warm and dry place by their owner as soon as there is only a sign of rain, not to speak of Snow and the Salt that comes with it ...

Which is why this owner is infinitely more awesome than the others.

Three solutions to the problem of small-business transport:
1. The German take on the Australian way.

2. The classic British way.

3. The Italians. I still can't take the ugly.

The right car for the winter weather.

"Kuh" is German for "cow" and pronounced like the letter "Q".

Ugh.

(1) Who the hell would actually bother to fit SNOW TIRES on a supercar instead of buying a winter beater?
(2) Why would you expose the rims and underside to corrosive ROAD SALT?
(3) Snow and road salt dragged into the interior ruin the carpet and uhpolstery.
(4) Criminal that it isn't garaged in the first place.

EDIT: Oh, it's Ezra Dyer, a journalist who couldn't afford an R8 and therefore disregards a press car as disposable property *

* Yes I'm jealous

It's a car. It's meant to be driven. Same goes for my classic car and any other automotive oddity out there. One of my neighbours daily drives an Ur-Quattro, and rightly so.

That looks exactly like my classmate's. Except he doesn't park in a handycapped spot. At least I've never seen him do it. :p

This person actually had a sticker, which was surprising, so no "This is Why People Think BMW Drivers are Asshats" award for this guy.
