I think the car bra is to protect from debris, rocks, etc. That's a Sebring Cabrio btw. And wow, the new 6 Series really is ugly.

Some Crysler Cabriolet - with something I?ve seen quite often in the States, but not so often here ... some kind of leather-car-apron on the front. What?s that for?

it's to make sure that if you've driven it for a year, the nose will be all sandpapered up and lost all it's gloss ;)

Beautiful. Real shame about the colour but it looks in stunning nick.

Any more pics of the "unkown"?

It has got a kind of 1920's Bentley vibe going on.

WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU????

That green is fantastic, and colour-matched roof is <3

After I graduated I spent 12 months working for Proton Cars UK. One of my tasks was to do the monthly dealer allocations of models and colours based on existing stock from what was shipped from Malaysia.

At the time there was a paint colour virtually identical to that Citroen call Rainforest Green. And every month I had to field a deluge of calls from dealers who had been allocated cars in that colour because noone wanted to buy it. They all knew the only way to shift cars in that colour was to sell them at cost.

As you can imagine I have had a thing about green cars, particularly that sort of light metallic, ever since.

Obviously caught in the tornado that passed through Joplin.

I'm see lots of cars that had been caught in the damage drive by shop with the windows busted out and the spray painted X on the door.

Edit:

And another one on the same truck going the same way.

OK, so not much better. p:

* shrugs *

Probably too small for a Bentley, maybe an old MG?

MWF & ZeDee, there is an old enduring urban myth around here that green cars are unlucky.

Stupid as that sounds, it is true that people won't buy greeen cars and this is reflected in the less new car sales.

Some say, it has something to do with many F1 and sports cars of the 1950's, using British Racing Green colour schemes of which many crashed killing their drivers.

:dunno:
