well, usually the amg package adds bumpers, skirts, alloys and that kinda stuff...but apparently mercedes started to add the badge as well as of late. pretty lame really, if you buy a bmw with the m-package you won't get the m badge. thats reserved for the real m-models, at least factory wise.
All true except I don't think they give you the AMG badges...

Nice Jag XK :)
i checked the mbworld forums and they say that you can get the AMG badge when you order a merc with amg package.

Saw these today in Brussels... Mostly at Sablon, which is the 'rich' part of the city, nice caf?s and all... Oh, the Merc showroom next door and a Maybach 62 has been in there for 2 years now or more, and an SLR for more than a year, nice to drive by it and look inside at the beauties.

Aston Martin DB7 Vantage

Merc CLS 55 AMG

Merc G-Wagon

Triumph TR7

VW Phaeton

Nice spots... hate the B on the back of the DB7. What's with these Euro country stickers anyway? Do they serve a purpose?

Oh, that... Belgium... It sometimes has just a "B" or a "B" with the Royal Crown on it... On the other side, it is normally the dealership sticker, or otherwise a Car Club or something. Most Ferrari's I've seen has the Belgium Ferrari Owner's Club sticker on it.

Now that you mentioned it... That "B" is pretty ugly... and protruding....

Also, Belgium is the only EU country without the normal country number plate with a blue vertical bar on the left with the European Union flag (the starry thing) and the abbreviation of the country below in san-serif font. We still have the red on white plates as before.

I think they make the car look ugly, but I was talking generally about country stickers for cars... you know those oval white things with like GB and DE on them?

What's the point?

Haha, I saw it today, too. (Not in that lot though)

And I didn't take any pictures since I have already posted a bunch in this thread.

It's obviously a replica 250 GTO, but still a decent one.

BTW, where did you see it?

i nearly had a heart attack when i saw those pics.
does anyone know what kind of replica this is?

Nice finds, particularly CLS 55 & DB7 :)

I've talked with owner, and she didn't even know her car was a replica. *cough*Blonde*cough*

She told me that she bought it from a auction many years ago. It's obviously an old replica; I could tell that from the well-done interior, but SHE JUST COULDN'T ACCEPT THAT HER CAR IS A 250 GTO REPLICA. She didn't even know it was a 250 GTO...damn, and she told me that her husband owns 10 Ferraris...... yes, 10 Ferraris.

Anyways, today saw this, a meh car...

My bad, I didn't see the Conti in the corner... I thought you posted it to show the Corolla.

Yeah, the plastic interior mirror... ;)

As I stated before, it sure is a good replica. But hell, there IS A 2 MILLION DOLLAR SILVER ONE IN CALIFORNIA. Yeah, 2 Million dollar 250 GTO Replica, and it was for sale, silver. You couldn't really tell THAT ONE was a replica.

But after all, they're not just real 250 GTOs.

You weren't allowed to cross the border without them in the past ... And still aren't unless you have the new license plate with EU stars & country designation on the left.

New:

Err, not quite correct - first, you just don't get the old versions of number plates any more, therefore they are slowly vanishing out of everyday steet life, but you can cross any border you want with the old ones as well - as long as you put an additional sticker on your car indicating the country you're from.
