I hate to tell you this guys, but the "pink thing" really is a modified Ferrari 360 Spider.

It's got 360 headlights, a 360 front bumper and trunk lid (it can be seen underneath the tacky plastic stuff), side mirrors (with the right mount even), 360 door handles, etc. The wheels are off though. While they are Ferrari rims (I think from the 355), they are not meant for the 360 and that's why they look a little odd. They've got too much rubber. Of course most of this could be changed and put on a different car, but some of it really can't. Look at the windscreen frame, the shape of it, where the fenders meets the frame, the dash, door panels, seats, the area behind the seats, etc. 100% Ferrari 360.

So, please don't try to argue with me. D-Fence, I know you've seen this car in person but so did I. It might be a little embarassing for you, but those are the facts. :p

My point is, there were only 50 made...and weren't all 50 bought, by special invitation, before they were even all made by people on Ferrari's special list? If that's the case, how is it that I've now seen pictures/stood in front of at least 4 in dealer showrooms? Seems like if *I* were buying a rare/expensive car as that, why would I store it at a dealership, and let them cart it around to car shows?

if you don't, you have to store it yourself, and pay for the storage

now the dealer will take care of it, clean it, and maybe even pay you for having it on display

Went to a GM dealer to check some trucks, guess what I saw...

a cute line up.

^LOL

That's quite interesting......Euro supercars at a GM dealer? I guess even the guys at GM know that their cars are no where near the performance of their German/Italian counterparts

Good for you Salar, you finally broke your SLR sighting cherry! Where is the dealership by the way?

Or at least in the gumpert photo.
