If you are driving 'otherwise in accordance with the law' is a statement that rings a bell Basically if you break the law in any way they won't pay out. Drunk, no tax, speeding; it's all a loophole so your compulsory insurance is null and void. And the Police know that.Dunno about the tax, don't know how that would increase insurance risk.
