Pandas, am I right?

My brother saw this at the motorshow in Manchester today

Presumably, the license plate on that one is short for "Fuck It, it's broken again, off to the ATM."

..That's actually sort of cool. Is it fast?

It's in Japan, so no idea. I like to think it has an Integrale engine. :p

Have you ever seen the electric Panda, the Elettra ?

Never saw the point, you lose storage space and the normal cars get 40+ MPG.

Plate worth more than the car. I'll investigate...

Found this on Retro Rides:

At the time of its' release, the MK1 Fiat Panda 4x4 had the fastest 0-30mph time of any production car. This was discovered by a motoring journalist who redlined the car and dropped the clutch in 3rd gear!

Really? :|

So the Panda-esque event next month.
We have 9 Classics, 1 Mk3  a big Punto, a Cinq, possibly a classic 500... and I will be parked next to a SupertankerC!!!!!!!!!!!

I thought you didn't like new Pandas. And what's a SupertankerC ?

The current Panda is usually referred to as a mk3, third generation, or third series.

Old Panda owners seem to refuse existence of new ones, so minor changes through the lifespan of the original Panda have created a Mk1, Mk2, and Mk3. According to Google.

"Officially", the one you call Mk2 is a Mk1 1st facelift, while the Mk2 facelift is a Mk1 2nd facelift. In fact, however, since the pre-1986 ones are so rare, even in Italy (they haven't sold many of them, and they were "disposable"), and the 1st and 2nd facelift model are nearly identical, they're usually referred to as Panda mk1, or old Panda.

edit: That Mk2 facelift model isn't just a normal Panda, it's a Gold by Moretti. The same company also made this, the Panda Rock Moretti
