Not the worst parking job ever, but still... come on!

and illegal... at least in germany... have seen quite a few people ticketed for being parked 'the wrong way round'

 that's also a great way to determine you're going the wrong way down a one-way street  cars on both sides are parked facing you.

Seems like i'm coming by these every week now

^Sheesh, that's dangerous on a street like that.

If I'm correct, that's the NS Auto mall. And while that is a stupid way to park, that road is just a 1-way ring road around the mall, so it's really not that bad, what is bad is that he probably drove down the road in the wrong direction to get there, or perhaps he came out of the driveway at the BMW dealer there.

Fun fact: I used to work at both of the dealerships pictured here! (and I left on good terms with both, just btw)

Both at the BMW and Lexus dealer? What did you do? :p

Sorry for the OT here. :D

I worked as a service lot guy for the BMW dealership, then I had to leave due to medical problems, then I went back to work (they didn't have a position available for me at BMW at the time) So I went next door and worked as a sales lot guy at Lexus.

Sorry, I apologize for the poor phone photos and the awkwardness, but here's a couple of examples from work. >.>

Blacked out Honda Civic... The jerk was sitting in his car like texting while parked like this. Across three spots. In his Honda.

boohoohoo! as long as you don't get out, you're not parked!
you can stop in front of someone's driveway...as long as you don't get out of your car, you can stay there!

or do you prefer him texting while driving?

I don't see what's wrong with that at all. It looks like he's in the very last row of the parking lot and it's quite empty. Oftentimes if I'm driving a need to make a quick call or send a text, I'll quickly pull into a lot and send the text or make a call.

I forgive this guy because of an experience in a parking lot my dad had with his Corvette. Let's just say door scuff repaints on fiberglass ain't cheap.

The only problem with that, is that it was actually pretty busy at that point and there were cars that parked where my car was parked besides the spot next to that Beetle (the even further out parking area). The other parking spots closer to the doors were all full. So actually, he was hogging up space unnecessarily where others would normally park (that's actually a surprisingly popular spot to park, it's usually full at 10 AM). The angle didn't really show that, but it was during the 10 AM rush to get the Egg McMuffins before McDonalds stops selling breakfast time.

And yes, while I do think he shouldn't be using his phone while driving (Why is this a problem anyway? It's like reading while driving or makeup while driving, dumb.), he was sitting there for over half an hour.

Shitty parking aside, it is illegal here to be on your phone for any reason while driving. So I'd prefer that. While he's not entirely considerate, he's trying to be safe. That's more than can be said about most of the people that drive on our streets today. The half an hour bit, not so sure.
