Well i just had a 4-day Lan party...we got about 6 hours of sleep per day...

Whats the longest party you guys had and what did u do?

I'll post the games and maps we played...but now i really need some sleep :sleeping:
 
not a fan of lan parties and I like to sleep so it's definately not my cup of tea, I'm not nerd enough for that
 
my longest lan party was 2 weeks all day long playing quake3 and battlefield
14 boys and one girl

we used to do that once in a six month period.

Hmm, lets see if I can get it together.
The longest LAN Party I ever had was ~12 hours. We were six people, had two beer crates, medal of honour and a lot of fun.
The longest I've ever been out partying ? I can't even remember. Must have been a day where someone had a birthday party and we headed for the clubs afterwards.
The longest period I've been awake was 38 hours in a row. You won't believe how long you can stay awake as long as you stay active.
 
How do you stay awake for 60 hours ? After 38 hours my body just wanted to take it's sleep. As long as I was out and active I had no problem but when I sat down I nearly felt asleep. It was really awkward because it seemed like I could keep on forever, but 60 hours ?

It was a great 4 days spent (i think those are all the maps...if theres more i'll add them...lol)
 
Longest I've done was friday night till sunday morning. Played loads of games. But we did sleep for a few hours.


As for proper parties. Lol, never for more than 24 hours. I normaly too fucked to walk straight at the end.
 
i've been once to a lan party which was a bit more then a day with no sleep.
longest i've been awake was 4 days (3nights), which was about 2years ago when i started uni. that was due to the fact that my papers and some other administration crap was messed up, so i couldnt start in time. i came to uni about 2weeks before the 1st exam period, and had to read and learn 4 books of 500-1000pages long. so yes, those 4 days and 3 nights i was awake all the time were spent on studying :yucky: but at the end it paid off eventually 8)
nowadays i can do easily 2days without sleep and drinking coffee/redbull ;) 3 days is a bit tough though, and i need my 24pack of red bull :lol:

I'm pretty messed up with narcolepsy and insomnia. I've slept for 42 hours before, only waking a few times for food. :?
 
I've never been to a lan party, ever....
But the longest i played a game at once was like ~3 hrs for a complete F1 race + pratice + qualify
 
mmm never done a LAN party. I feel like I am wasting my time when I sit in front of the comp for more than 3 hours.

Longest I have stayed awake is 42 hours. That included 3 x 8.5 hour shifts at work @ good ol' Lombard and Interstate Fred Meyers. Maybe Viper knows of the place??
 
when Counter-strike was popular, me jason and a group of friends would play cs from like 11am till 6pm, we just had our lunch inside the internet cafe and the drinks were free and we could get unlimited amount, so we survived on nothing but coke or icelemon tea :lol:
Over here in malaysia, currently there's a warcraft III dotA expansion craze and me and my friends just play it for like 5hrs at a time
