We do two photoshops each month. there are always new people emerging and some old ones... We all get some points and sometimes none :mrgreen:

I was thinking why not have a leaderboard which shows how everyone is doing.. we could do this by seeing total points gained by the contestants or the average points of each contestant from all the contests entred...

Using this data, make a leaderboard to see who is the ultimate photoshopper of finalgear...

i think this way photoshopping will be more competitive and people will try to do better chops..

what do you think?
 
I think it sounds good....too bad my photoshop skills suck to bad.....
 
yes its a good idea ... i was also thinking about this ... we could make seasons ... so for example lets say a quarter year its a season ... and count all the points together in every season ... so every season would have an absolute winner ;)
 
You could even have a champinonship tournament or something ;)
 
Good idea, now who wants to be the responsible of the photoshop contest?

I can't be it anymore, not enough time and I'm starting to work next week.
 
maybe pdanev would undertake it ... ;) ... i also would do but on the beginning of july i will leave for about 1 month and will have no internet, so ...! :dunno: ... sorry!
 
dude i have just made the list of all the contests and the entries.. how do i upload the .xls file? i've also made an html file..

i cant do it, im here till mid july after that im gone to bulgaria and wont have regular access to internet, even if i will its gonna be some crappy 56k stuff :thumbsdown:

maybe we can start counting points after the summer holidays. i guess not many people will participate in the jun-july-august contests, visiting relatives, going on holidays, partying like hell, doing summer jobs etc.

Great, so uh.. you know how it works? and for the results, you can just take a previous month's excel fine and change it (that's what I do)

add me to msn so we can finalize the details and I'll send you the entries I recieved for this month.
 
Ok, so why not start the season from this months entry and end it in august...

Heres what I think how the points should be rewarded :

For every exercise, top 8 will be given points... (hope we get that many entries...)
1st : 10
2nd : 8
3rd : 6
4th : 5
5th : 4
6th : 3
7th : 2
8th : 1

For a person to be eligible for points, he should have atleast a point in an exercise...

I also thought that to make the results of each exercise more accurate, we give our top 5 selections... Pl give your ideas on this scheme...
 
^ thats a good idea, only problem though. what if we have less then 8 entries :)

another idea might be for people to distribute points. say every voter gets 10 points that he has to assign to minimum 3 maximum 5 members and you cant give more then 5 points to a member. they have this type of voting at carspyshots, and for some reason i like it.

i wanna join too i recently got the photoshop bug as well
 
you don't have to post to join the contest... just watch out for the photoshop threads and save the car that is going to be photoshopped, submit the photoshop to the Contest Admin and he'll add you to the leaderboard :D... more details can be found in the Photoshopping section ;)
 
Anyone is welcome here, Advanced, beginner, Professional.....After you do two or three exercises, you'll see that its the idea and originality that wins the the contests :D
