Pictures from Vancouver

Yes it was a snowcat iben. Really old thing too.

Other car was indeed a Bentley. Some nice cars around here. Seen numerous Continental GTs, two Gallados, an F360, an F360 Challenge Stradale (in silver of all colours too!) and tens of Corvettes and new Mustangs. Someone opened up a 350Z in town today too and it sounded simply imense!

No it doesn't.

Shawn_230: As for the best skiing in the Americas, I think I'll have to differ! Alta takes the cake.

Whistler > All ;)

Yeah, I like that about Vancouver... on one day this year I saw:

Silver Ferrari 550 Maranello
Black Porsche Carrera GT
Silver Ferrari 360 Challenge Stradale
Black Lamborghini Gallardo
Black Ferrari - either F430 or 360... probably just the 360. Couldn't see because it was dark.

I know it's not that great in terms of cars compared to some places, but I've spent my whole life in Australia, and seen a couple of Murcielagos. Was probably just the same one twice. :? To see all of those in one day, for me...

500 inches a year? Anyways, it isn't worth arguing, as this will never be resolved. Also, I've never been to Whistler, but from everything I've read (and experienced at Alta) Alta has the best powder skiing anywhere.

But I still wouldn't turn down a trip to Whistler :D

Hasn't Alta banned snowboarding?

The appeal of Whistler more than anything is its location. It's an hour away from Vancouver... you got your ski slopes, your lush jungles and your sunny beaches all within a half-hour distance.

Some pics I took tonight, from Lonsdale Quay.

That first shot is fantastic. After such a horrible start to the day it was lovely weather this evening wasn't it? Went test driving today with a friend of ours who's looking to replace is CLK500. Tried the 330, 530 and A6 3.2 in torrential rain! LOL

Having fun, eh? lol

And yes, this evening was alright. I hope tommorow is sunny. :D I'm going downtown.

Where do you stay BTW?

Vancouver is great! I went there in October, we stayed downtown, at the Hyatt. Unfortunately we had a lot of rain. I'll have to come back during summer!

And I've already planned a skiing trip to Whistler with a friend of my dad, who lives in Seattle. I'll go as soon as my studies allow it. :)

We're up near Point Grey on W11th...nice and handy for downtown. Seems dryer today but not quite so sunny.

Go back a week on Sat :( Gotta make the most of my final 10 days!

Ah, I see.

It's not gonna be sunny anyways in 10 days or so.

But that's a great place you are staying right now. I guess you see cool cars everyday.

By the way, today I was in downtown, saw a blacked out 993 Turbo on Georgia  and a silver S55 AMG did a burnout beside a Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow after light turned green on Robson.
Elder poeple in Rolls-Royce were freaked out.

Hmm...look what I found on my once annual visit to the Photography forum...

So where abouts do all my fellow Vancouverites live?

West Van sometimes and downtown sometimes...
