I'm gonna get a new wheel, the Logitech DFP. At the Logitech site I found this:

It is 300 euro, is it worth it? How is the quality of the seat, construction and so on?
Yep... :bangin:
if you can afford it, then go for it ;)

if you are short on cash, but really want one badly, then i guess you could put together one "yourself". you can buy an old racing seat, couple of metal pipes, and ask someone you know that can weld. i bet you could get it under 150euros, if lucky maybe even around 100.
I did my research on them as well after having ordered my DFP a while ago... Would be great, I could afford it no problem at the moment, but I don't have a place to put it in my tiny computer room... :-(

^ good point, i can imagine this being a bit of pain in the ass to drag forth and back across the room :)
Especially since it will be constructed to move only under HARD pushing...

i'd rather have a seat which realy was in a car, not some fake one that looks like it
