Playseat, any good?

I'm gonna get a new wheel, the Logitech DFP. At the Logitech site I found this:

It is 300 euro, is it worth it? How is the quality of the seat, construction and so on?

if you can afford it, then go for it

if you are short on cash, but really want one badly, then i guess you could put together one "yourself". you can buy an old racing seat, couple of metal pipes, and ask someone you know that can weld. i bet you could get it under 150euros, if lucky maybe even around 100.

I did my research on them as well after having ordered my DFP a while ago... Would be great, I could afford it no problem at the moment, but I don't have a place to put it in my tiny computer room...

This is the response I was waiting for, is the seat rubbish? It is actually possible to fold up the seat and put it in a box, which makes me doubt the "authentic" racing seat claims.
